Before you get started, make sure you've taken a moment to check out what we are looking for in a Beta Tester.
How can I be a great beta tester?
As a beta tester, you’ll use the app just as you intend to when it’s officially released. Check out all the features, play around with settings, track symptoms, write journals, explore…and let us know what you think. You’ll likely find some bugs or system errors in the app, so please make sure to report these to us so we can fix them. Also, feel free to send feedback on what you think of the app as a whole, what you like, what you don’t like, and how we can make the app better in the future. Your thoughts and ideas will not go unexplored.
Will my tracking data from beta testing carry over to the public version of Me v PMDD?
Unfortunately, since the beta versions of applications can be quite unstable and are separate apps from their production version counterparts, your tracking data or journal data entered in the beta app can’t be automatically transferred to the public production version of Me v PMDD. The beta version of the app is completely separate from the production version of the app. Make sure to note your symptom tracking somewhere outside the beta app if you’d like to manually add it to Me v PMDD after public release. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about this. We’re here to help.
Android Beta Testing
We have released our Android Beta App to a limited set of 1,000 users, as long as there are seats available, you can download our private application from Google Play.
We currently support Android v5.0 or Higher. If you are using a version of Android below v5.0, you will not be able to install our application. However, you can still use our Web Application, though older Android devices have been reported to have issues.
iOS Beta Testing
iOS provides an application called TestFlight that helps companies like ours connect users that are interested in testing early releases of applications. However, adding testers to TestFlight is currently a manual process.
To become an iOS Beta Tester you will need to:
- Download the TestFlight app from the App Store
- Contact Us and provide the Email Address you use for your iOS account
- Wait for a response from us that we have added you to our testing program, then our application will be accessible via TestFlight
Beta Web Application
We have a private version of our beta web application available online:
You'll need to log in with the following information:
Our Web Application is currently only designed for Mobile Web Browsers. If you are using a larger screen like a tablet or laptop/desktop computer, you are not going to have the best experience. We expect to have support in place for these larger screens when we release Me v PMDD to the public.
